Where are you now I wonder?
Sleeping peaceful underneath angel wings
Sweet sleep you are drifting in
Found in my heart you are within
And as the midnight hour passes
Still I lie with eyes held open
As the hand of unseen wind wanders
Leaving ripples across the reflection
Of your face-the image not yet lucid
Awestruck I stand here alone
Falling through that which I know
And that which I cannot see
Even still you're close beside me

Amid the dark and stormy night
The angry waves crash down upon the shore
Their torrent washing over the boulders
Lightning flashes across the empty sky
Cold rain stings my frozen face
Still gasping for breath I am
In the midst of this desolate place
My eyes are guided to an isle
A light from closed heavens shine
Down upon her dressed in colour white
She stands there calling with lips silent
Her hand reached out to my dying soul
I struggle to my feet as our eyes
Meet in that beautiful eternity
Voice whispered off such tender lips
Embraced I am by her beauty
This angel fallen down to me
Life everlasting to resurrect me
Past the tower where it all began
Forever we walk on through the never
